Owners

Andie Figueroa
Owner

Andie Figueroa

Born and raised in East Los Angeles, California, Andie Figueroa brings over 20 years of professional dance experience paired with a strong academic background in the arts and education. Her lifelong dedication to the performing arts is the foundation of JuiceBox Dance Academy.

Andie began her higher education at California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts and Dance, with a concentration in Dance. She also holds an Associate of Science Degree and a Certification in Early Childhood Education. Committed to continuous growth, Andie pursued graduate studies through Azusa Pacific University's Master's and Business Program, later completing her degree at the University of Phoenix.

In addition to being certified in acrobatics and multiple dance education programs, Andie is an active member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO). She is passionate about providing mentorship and internship opportunities to young dancers, helping them grow as artists and future leaders in the dance community.

Andie is also a two-time cancer survivor whose strength and resilience inspire those around her. Above all, she is a devoted wife and proud mother to two beautiful daughters who share her love for dance.

Tommy Figueroa
Owner

Tommy Figueroa

Originally from East Los Angeles, Tommy Figueroa played a vital role in bringing JuiceBox Dance Academy to life. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, where he had the opportunity to experience and appreciate diverse cultures known for their artistic expression.

After completing his military service, Tommy pursued higher education at Arizona State University, earning both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work. He now serves as a dedicated Social Worker within a local school district, where he applies his expertise to support students and their families.

Tommy is a devoted father and a supportive husband who cherishes time with his loved ones. His passion for helping others and his commitment to empowering future generations continue to shape the heart of JuiceBox Dance Academy. He looks forward to contributing to its growth as a welcoming and inclusive space for all.

Company Director / Instructor

Ms. Chloee

Director of the Elite Team with years of experience as a performer and choreographer. Multiple national title winner with award-winning choreography consistently placing top 3 and top 5 at regional and national competitions. GCU graduate — Go Lopes!

Ms. Jessie
Company Director / Instructor

Ms. Jessie

Jessie Figueroa has been dancing since the age of three and has grown up immersed in the arts. Surrounded by creativity from an early age, she developed a deep passion for dance and thrives in environments where she can connect with others who share her passion and goals. Jessie has been part of JuiceBox Dance Academy since its opening in 2010. A proud alumna of Desert Edge High School, Class of 2023, Jessie served as President of the Scorpion Dance Company and Captain of Varsity Pom during her senior year.

Her performance experience includes major stages, most notably performing in the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show with Rihanna. She has also been named an All-American, performed at Universal Studios Orlando, and was invited to join the UDA Staff following high school.

As a choreographer, Jessie has created numerous award-winning routines, with her solos and group pieces consistently placing in the top three and top five throughout competitive seasons. Her creativity, leadership, and dedication have contributed to multiple national titles.

Jessie has been involved with the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) for over seven years, where she has continued to develop her knowledge and passion for dance education. Jessie's dance accomplishments also include earning acceptance into the Joffrey BFA Pre-Professional Trainee Program. Jessie finds great joy in teaching and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young dancers. She is currently a senior at Arizona State University, majoring in Digital Strategy and Audience Engagement with a minor in Media Content Creation. She continues to share her love and knowledge of dance both inside and outside the studio.

Three-time Arizona Youth Grant recipient from the Arizona Commission of the Arts. Active NDEO member teaching two levels of Folklorico and celebrating cultural dance traditions.

Ms. Jazmin
Ballet Master Instructor

Ms. Jazmin

Jazmin has been training and dancing for more than 20 years. Her passion for dance, dedication, and fearless approach to her craft led her to pursue dance at Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC), where she continued developing her artistry and leadership skills. She later furthered her education at Arizona State University, graduating in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education. Jazmin also served as Assistant to Artistic Director Janaea McAlee within the EMCC Dance Program, gaining valuable experience in leadership, mentorship, and dance education. She continues to invest in her professional growth and is currently pursuing her graduate degree.

Ms. Jazmin currently leads our Ballet Program and has been an important part of its development for several seasons. Under her instruction, our dancers have shown continued growth in ballet technique, strength, discipline, and overall performance quality. Her commitment to providing strong technical training and supporting each dancer's individual progress has made a meaningful impact on the continued growth of our ballet program.

Ms. Jilia
Acrobatic Instructor

Ms. Jilia

Jilia has been dancing since the age of two and has been part of the JuiceBox Dance Academy family throughout her entire dance journey. She has shown a strong commitment to leadership and dance education through her involvement in our internship program, including participation in the NDEO program. She began as a Junior Intern in 2020 and has since advanced into our High School Internship Program.

Jilia is currently an Acrobatic Arts Pre-Professional Level 9.3 dancer and continues to challenge herself both technically and artistically. Jilia participated in the Joffrey Ballet School of Arts Summer Program. At school, she is a Varsity Pommie and participates in Performance Dance, the highest-level dance course offered. She is also a three-time Varsity Pommie and has earned All-American recognition.

In addition to performing, Jilia has expanded her experience into choreography, creating solos for young dancers who compete at regional competitions. Her future goals include continuing her dance journey at the collegiate level, with hopes of being recruited for a college dance team, while also pursuing a career in nursing with a focus on obstetrics.

Ms. Alexys
Dance Instructor

Ms. Alexys

Alexys Heifner has been dancing since the age of eight, training in a diverse range of dance styles while building a strong foundation in technique, performance, and artistry. She attended Willow Canyon High School, where she was actively involved in every dance team offered by the school.

Throughout her high school dance experience, Alexys demonstrated strong leadership and dedication, serving as captain for two years across two different dance teams. In addition to performing, she contributed to the creative process by assisting with choreography for various classes and creating numerous original routines of her own. Her experience reflects her creativity, leadership, and continued passion for dance.
